These true 5″ x 5″ vinyl caps are manufactured in the USA with premium PVC vinyl. They are designed to fit external pyramid shapes atop vinyl fence posts, offering maintenance-free performance with a limited lifetime warranty. The post cap resists extreme climates, making it suitable for high desert heat and cold winters. Installation is straightforward and requires no screws or special tools; simply place the cap on top of the post and secure as needed with appropriate adhesive or mounting methods recommended by the manufacturer.
Hiceeden 12 Pack 5″ x 5″ Vinyl Fence Post Caps
The Hiceeden set includes 12 caps designed for most standard 5 x 5 inch PVC posts. The caps measure approximately 5.2″ x 5.2″ x 1.8″ to accommodate a snug fit on true 5″ x 5″ posts. Constructed from quality PVC vinyl, these caps resist weathering, water damage, and decay. Installation is simple and screw-free; apply a small amount of PVC glue to secure if desired. They provide both protection and a refined finish for decks, fences, mailboxes, or lamp posts.
True 5×5 Plastic Pyramid Vinyl Fence Post Cap (2 White)
JSP Manufacturing offers true 5×5 plastic pyramid caps intended for genuine 5″ x 5″ vinyl posts. The caps are clearly sized for true post measurements and not compatible with nominal 4 1/2″ posts. Fastening options include nails or adhesive designed for plastic materials. The design emphasizes a secure fit to preserve the cap’s appearance and prevent debris buildup on the top of posts.

VIVIDA 5″ x 5″ Vinyl Fence Post Caps (4 Pack)
VIVIDA’s 4-pack features post caps explicitly sized for actual 5″x5″ vinyl posts. Made from PVC, these caps provide excellent weather resistance, protecting posts from cracking, fading, and water damage. The pyramid design adds a refined finishing touch to fences, decks, and mailboxes while enabling water drainage to prevent moisture accumulation.
Buying Guide
Key considerations when selecting a 5×5 pyramid post cap include fit, material, and installation method. For true 5″ x 5″ posts, verify interior dimensions as some caps specify “true” sizing to avoid mismatches with nominal measurements. PVC vinyl caps offer low maintenance and UV resistance, while plastic caps may require securing with nails or adhesive. Consider the climate: harsher climates benefit from thicker caps and a warranty that covers wear and fading. Bulk packs are cost-effective for larger projects, but ensure the caps’ height and inner diameter align with your post profiles. If installation is DIY, look for caps designed to snap on or glue securely without tools. Finally, verify warranty terms and whether the product is made in the USA for domestic purchasing preferences.
In summary, these five selections provide a range of sizes, pack counts, and finish options that suit most residential vinyl fence posts. Each option prioritizes true 5″ x 5″ sizing, protective materials, and a clean pyramid silhouette that complements modern fence designs.
